Review is a video where Aimy, a virtual influencer, reviews her own videos. Appropriating the style of the contents that American celebrities and K-pop idols use to review music videos, the artist throws a skeptical question about the images of virtual influencers as contents commercially consumed. In the video, Aimy appears as a being that has a body in the digital world, sensed as a cold space with flexible flows, and a complex being that holds the AI system’s resources. Aimy, an entity that effortlessly traverses the boundaries of gender, humanity, and race, assumes the capacity to unabashedly disseminate its narrative with the potential for digital reproduction within the queer spectrum.
