This talk is hosted by Dr. Puma SHEN, assistant professor of the Graduate School of Criminology, National Taipei University. Taiwanese artist Yi-Shan SHIH, who participates in the exhibition with the work “War of Memory” and who had previously conducted Chinese network field research in the name of Prof. Ho-Wang LAI, will be invited to join discussions surrounding network media, information warfare, and fake news.
Puma SHEN
Puma SHEN, assistant professor at National Taipei University, is chairperson of Doublethink Lab, vice president of the Taiwan Association for Human Rights (TAHR), director of the Prospect Foundation, consultative member of Mainland Affairs Council, Republic of China, Taiwan. He specializes in the sociology of law and white-collar crime, and his recent research mainly focuses on information warfare and united front tactics.
Yi-Shan SHIH
Founder of the Declaration of Airborne Own-Body Kinetic Energy, Yi-Shan SHIH organized the Technological Objects and Human Illusions Laboratory in the name of a fictitious researcher Ho-Wang. SHIH has long engaged in various research projects and discussions surrounding “technological objects” conducted in the mode of “connections of topics.”
