There is a song circulating in the mountains, the song contains the memories of ancestors’ migration history, and each tribal community sings its own migration song. In this work, we use a similar sentiment to investigate our own unique migration history. The journey along the multiple pathways and rivers leads to where we are together. The ‘an’ is the locative term in many Austronesian languages, (25.09670, 121.51657) is the google map pin for the location of the National Taiwan Science Education Center. This is reflected in the artwork Insert into ‘Location’=an(25.09670, 121.51657) which incorporates the technique of optical illusion to create visual movements and performance art to express the artists’ individual migration history. Nowadays, the information between the names of places and ancient and/or Indigenous place names are disconnected. The work asks: are the place names just a meaningless representation, and what information does a name reveal?
