Ciwas Tahos 林安琪
Lin An-Chi (Taiya ethnic name: Ciwas Tahos), graduated from Simon Fraser University in Canada with a BA in Contemporary Visual Arts, later studied at the Taipei National University of the Arts for her MFA in New Media. Her works, ranging from performance, video projection, and installations, focus on portraying Taiya ancestral spirits’ world view through new media mediums. Recent works of Lin include The Land in the Middle of the Pond exhibited in 2021 Green Island Human Rights Art Festival and Perhaps She comes from/to ______Alang in 2020 Pulima Art Festival. * Alang or qalang means tribe or community in pan-Atayal language.
