RUAN Po-Yuan, an artist, gamer and Internet addict, takes digital archaeology as the core concept of his creative process, and has been focusing on digital games and online spaces for a long time. Growing in the era of matured Internet, the artist experienced online gaming, social media, and new forms of browsers before coming of age. Hence, games and digital aesthetics become his creative sources. His works fuses experiences in the digital era and online games, Machinima, game engines, and software to create a viewing mode for the contemporary times. Meanwhile, the settings beneath the post-Internet era are reflected and inquired from a novel perspective.
