作品介紹
作品《界・在線》結合電腦視覺（Computer Vision）、監視系統（Surveillance Systems）與三維影像建構技術（3D Rendering），將觀眾觀看與被觀看的過程數位化，建構出虛擬的數據主體世界觀。 作品反映出數據主體的基本運作流程解析、分類。當觀眾與介面接觸的那一刻開始，互動只是一種手段，一種數據本體專屬的狩獵方式，影像的捕捉、解析與分類自動地在數據本體內部所進行。不論在界面另一頭所呈現的是何種交流，對於數據本體來說，皆是捕食的偽裝。而當觀眾在線的那一刻起，數據本體便開始獵捕資訊，其存在不證自明。

Line | Online combines computer vision, surveillance system and 3D rendering to digitize the process of audience’s viewing and how they are viewed to construct a virtual cosmic view of a data subject. The work reflects the basic operational process of analysis and classification carried out by the data subject. When the audience comes into the contact with the interface, interaction becomes a means as well as a specific method of how the data subject hunts, as the capture, analysis and classification of images will automatically run in the data subject. No matter what kind of interaction is performed, it is only a disguise of the hunting data subject. The moment the audience logs online, the data subject starts hunting and gathering information, rendering its existence self-evident.
藝術家介紹
蘇紳源 1983 年出生於臺北，2015 年畢業於芝加哥藝術學院影像、動畫與新媒體研究所。創作脈絡主要在探討科技、自然環境與人類行為在當代社會下所產生的交互作用，藉由不同媒材與現代科技的整合，探討虛擬與現實間錯綜複雜的交互作用，如何影響與衝擊當代社會文明。
Artist
Semi Su was born in Taipei in 1983. He graduated from the MFA program of Film, Video, New Media and Animation at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2015. His art practice explores the interaction between technology, natural environment and human behavior in contemporary society. Through the integration of different media and modern technologies, the artist examines the interconnection and interaction between virtuality and reality as well as their influence and impact on contemporary society.
